These were taken in Copan, Honduras.
Every time I come home from a trip and someone asks me to see my photos, it always ends with the same question : how many pictures of flowers did you end up taking?
I can’t really explain it as I am totally clueless about flower names/types and even more clueless about growing them. As a matter of fact, I just managed to kill my un-killable bamboo plant. I think that I have what they call a black thumb.
Anyway, here some of my favorite flower photos from Barcelona:
I am home after a lovely week in Barcelona.
One of the highlights of my trip was my daily visits to La Boqueria Market. It was a feast for the eyes, the nose and the stomach. It was great to be able to eat some awesome fresh fruit and various other foods.
here are some photos, hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them:

These tapas photos were taken in Madrid:
La Chiva = Party bus.
I took these last year. Everyone gets on the bus(the normal seats are removed) and you sit on a long wooded bench. Musicians sit in the middle of the Chiva and it goes all over town. Everyone is singing and having a great time. I just loved the concept.
Bottles of rum, buckets of ice and bottles of Coka Cola get passed from the front of the bus to the back and then back to the front.
Ours was particularly fun as the city was preparing for Obama’s visit, so the street were full of hot policemen and hot soldiers. Weehpah !

This was taken while staying at a Finca(farm) in Poptun, Guatemala. I was lying down on a hammock and the photo is of the roof of the hut I was chilling in. Ahhh, to lie in a hammock and hear nothing but nature doing it’s thing.
